to make reservations for airline tickets, hotel rooms, package holidays,
entertainment tickets, restaurants, and purchase gifts, auctions
and speciality services.
The company has over 2.1 million registered subscribers and forged
relationships with a number of suppliers: approximately 25 international
scheduled airlines, 45 restaurants, 500 hotels, 70 package tour
operators, 165 theatre, sports and entertainment promoters, 20 speciality
service providers and over 200 gift suppliers. Lastminute.Com Plc
also has agreements with key Internet sites such as Excite U.K.,
Freeserve and MSN in the United Kingdom; Wanadoo and Voila in France;
T-Online in Germany; and Reisefeber in Sweden.
The Company acquired the Degriftour Group in 2000. During the first
three-quarters of 2000, sales totalled £2.26 million (up 2,872.4%)
compared to the same period in the previous year. The company was
